Hey, Brant here. I'm not sure how this "blogging" thing really works, but I'll give it a try. Kate finally got me to agree on making a blog for the four of us. She even suggested making it as a birthday present for her. I don't get why she wants it so badly, but I guess it's not that much work. Just have to keep up with it, and check back everyday. I'll let Jon do that.
Anyway, there's not much to start off with. I guess I could introduce us all. There's Mia, a close friend of mine. Actually, me and her have been friends since elementary, but Jon is pretty close as well. We met in...I think it was middle school. Mia's got a younger brother, Michael. Which is why she's not around as much. Ever since she's been Changed, she's been a little protective of him. But none of us blame her. He's her baby brother, after all.
Then there's Jon, the..."quiet one". That mostly explains him, but I'm pretty sure he wouldn't appreciate just that much. He's considered the scientist among us. He's the one who does the research, finds us a new place to stay each night, and he's the one who found Kate. Jon's also the oldest.
Finally, there's Kate. The youngest. She's the only other Seeker we've heard of other than ourselves. Sh'es very...outgoing. I'm glad she wasn't like Jon. Ahem. I didn't just say that.
So I guess that's it for now. Until we've actually got something to talk about. For now...I'll go steal that box of chocolates from Kate and...watch Jon...stroke the cat. Yeah. It's pretty much normal around here.

yeah I basically live on the computer...well unless things change more. So you guys are runners? From Slender or...?
ReplyDeleteBoth Kate and Mia call us Seekers. But that sort of depends, because she also calls us Fighters. So I believe we're both. We do move from location to location, and Jon's always finding us places to stay. We're working out a way to take care of you're friend. She's one of us, so we can't leave her behind, but she's also so young. We're not sure how to bring her with us without...you know. It's a hard decision, but Mia's volunteered to stay with her if me or Jon have to leave.
ReplyDeleteWe're still working it out now as Kate finished her homework. That's another thing Mia's worried about: school. She dropped out. Same with me and Jon, but she still wants Kate to get an education. Not that a disagree, it's very important. But there's a slight problem with moving from place to place and also keeping her in school. But, it'll all work out somehow. I won't stress it, and neither will Jon.
So, yeah. Good luck to you, Danielle. I'll let Kate text you as soon as she's finished math. She's asking for help every two minutes, so I'm pretty busy. I just wish Jon would get away from that cat and help the kid. He's better at this than I am.

Brant, don't feel pressured to keep her in school. The public school system now a days has gone to crap, and in 30 years, you're going to need a master's degree to work at fucking McDonald's. I get the grades, but I have a feeling I won't be going to school anymore. Some how I was not marked absent today, even though I was in school for about 20 minutes.

I just came back from the most awkward situation in my entire life about 10 minutes ago. Some scary shit went on.
Back on topic, I think you should let Kate go with you guys. Keep her educated yourself by stealing textbooks or something.
Greetings, Brant. Name's Jon, and what a coincidence, I'm also the one who keeps track of everything in my little group. We're what we call Watchers. We decided the best way to stay sane was to watch him right back, help others where we can. It seems to be working so far.
